We were approached by a well known Dublin marketing company who were in need of a machine that could safely transport a three-piece band and their equipment from a busy Dublin street to a second story rooftop.

Depot manager Ben Byrne took the call and listened to the customer's needs.

He utilized his extensive fleet knowledge to recommend a brand new Genie 32/46 scissor lift with a maximum working height of 12 meters.

In order to be sure,  Ben sent out a technician to give a site survey at no additional cost to the customer.

Once the survey had been carried out, Ben contacted the client to confirm the machine, place and time. 

Our Transport Manager Georgi Doychev was tasked with organising the logistics of the Hire. He liaised with Ben once the booking had been taken in order to ensure the timely delivery of the Genie 32/46 12meter scissors lift. Machines of this size can be delivered normally with a jeep and trailer but on this occasion, Justin elected to have it delivered with a truck in order to optimize efficiency and move onto the next delivery with minimal fuss.

Our driver Kevin Farrell arrived onsite at the Stephen's Green Hibernian Club. The machine was needed from 6.30 a.m. An early start for most but not for our Kev, who arrived early to ensure that the machine could be delivered and maneuvered with ease and to avoid impacting commuters who use the footpath during morning rush hour. 

The machine, as always, was delivered on time, fully charged and fully certified with a pre-departure inspection that had been carried out by Robbie Parks and David Farrell- our trusty Services Department. With decades of combined access platform experience, the rest of the Vertical team can rest easy, as they know that our machines and our customers are in the safest of hands. 

Once Kevin had moved onto the next job, the project was overseen by our Head of Sales & Marketing Department Gordon- the latest addition to the Vertical team. Here at Vertical we take every opportunity possible to upskill our employees in each and every facet of the business. This promotes synergy between the various departments and ensures a smooth experience for us and the customers from start to finish. 

Once the promotion had finished our transport team swiftly arrived back on the scene to collect the scissors lift. A day or so after the hire we reached out to our clients to obtain some feedback to find that they were delighted with the service from start to finish.
